Julia Klumpkey was a US violist and composer. She studied violin and composition at the New England Conservatory in Boston, MA. During continuing studies abroad, she also learnt from William Henley, Maurice Hewitt, and Nadia Boulanger. Her compositional oeuvre includes works for chamber music, choir, and solo voice.
