Rafael Leonardo Junchaya is a Peruvian composer, conductor, and son of the composer Rafael Junchaya Gómez. He studied composition at the National Musical Conservatory of Peru.áHis professors included Enrique Iturriaga and Celso Garrido Lecca. His compositionaláoeuvre includes works for chamber music, voice, orchestra, as well as electro-acoustic works. Junchaya is a professor for composition and music history at the National Musical Conservatory and the Universidad San Martín de Porres.
